Good presentations skills are rare, valuable, and highly transferable. The goal of these workshops is to teach key techniques for creating and delivering a presentation that is clear, concise and captivating for experts and non-experts alike.

Examples of what you will learn:

  • how to start and end a presentation effectively
  • how to cut your presentation down to the essential information
  • how to design clear slides and avoid death by PowerPoint
  • the do’s and don’ts of how to deliver an engaging presentation.

Target group

Postdocs and researchers at KI

Schedule

PART I “Theory”: Tue 24th Sep, kl. 17:00-19:00

PART II “Hands-on”: Thu 26th Sep, kl. 17:00-19:30
Hands-on work on how to create and deliver a good presentation. You will apply what you learned in Part I.

We will accept people on "first-come, first-served" basis with priority to postdocs, but other researchers and PhD students are welcome to apply and will be given a seat if any are available. You will be contacted closer to the event to confirm your sport in Part II, and the venue for the workshop will be advertised to those admitted (Campus Solna).
