Titles missing on several profile pages on ki.se
Normally, all titles from ongoing employment/affiliations at KI are displayed on profile pages and contact cards, but right now many titles are missing due to a bug in one of the KI RIMS integrations.
Due to a bug in the feed from Primula and UBW Anknutna to KI RIMS, over a thousand new employments and affiliations have incorrectly been given the privacy setting “internal” in KI RIMS since the end of August. This means that the titles of these positions are missing on profile pages and contact cards on ki.se.
Work is in progress within the KI RIMS team to correct the bug so that no more people are affected, and to go through all employments in KI RIMS that have received the wrong privacy setting and change them manually, but it may take some time before all titles are back.
If your title is missing and you don't want to wait, you can change the privacy setting of your KI RIMS employment by yourself:
- Log in to KI RIMS
- Click on the heading in the box that says “Professional activities”
- Click on the globe symbol (see picture) in the header row of the employment you want to change
- In the pop-up box that opens, change the relationship privacy to “Public”.
It will then take a little while (usually within 20 minutes) before the title appears on your profile page.
