Several functions at Biomedicum will be closed during the Christmas and New Year’s holiday.

All FM Services (except for on-call services in the freezer facilities) will be closed from Monday, December 23, through Wednesday, January 1, and Monday, January 6.
Examples of services that will be unavailable during this period include:
- No shipments will be received on these days.
- Therefore, it is important not to place orders that may be delivered during this time.
- No autoclaving or lab bench service will be available.
- No bottled MilliQ water will be prepared.
- For MilliQwater, please refer to the MilliQ apparatus in the building or in the washing facility on the second floor.
- The last dry ice delivery before Christmas and New Year’s will be Thursday, December 19.
- The Supply Center will be closed.
- Coffee will not be replenished in the coffee machines.
- The dark rooms on the second floor will be closed.
If experiments are to be conducted during the holiday period, it is important to plan ahead. FM will restock supplies before the break, but some items may run out.
Take the opportunity to have your lab coats washed during the Christmas break! Leave the coats in the purple bag in the recycling rooms in the quarter.
