MEB Christmas Collection 2024

We have for this year’s Christmas collection decided to support SOS Children's Villages’ disaster relief work.

1 in 10 children and young people is separated from their families, abandoned, neglected or forced to live in an abusive environment, growing up without the support they need to prepare themselves for their future. The effects often last a lifetime, creating a harmful cycle that repeats from one generation to the next.

SOS Children’s Villages is the world’s largest organization focused on ensuring that children and young people without parental care or at risk of losing it grow up with the care, relationships and support they need to become their strongest selves. 

SOS Children’s Villages works long-term in nearly 140 countries around the world. Therefore, they are often already on-site when disaster strikes. Children are particularly vulnerable in disaster.  In addition to distributing food, water, and medicines, SOS Children’s Villages’ work focuses on creating child-friendly spaces as quickly as possible and taking care of children who have lost or been separated from their parents.
