IDAC closes for upgrade on 17 March at 08:00
During this period, it is not possible to log in to IDAC and no new information is retrieved from linked systems Primula, UBW Anknutna or Ladok.
Date and time
Monday 17 March at 08:00 until Monday 24 March at 08:00. It opens again on 24 March at 08:00.
What does this mean?
- During this period IDAC will be closed for upgrades.
- It will not be possible to log in to IDAC It will not be possible to retrieve new information from linked source systems (Primula, UBW affiliates and Ladok).
- New information from the source systems will be updated as soon as IDAC is up and running again
Are any other systems affected?
No - you can still log in and work on all connected systems while IDAC is being upgraded.
However, no new information will be uploaded to IDAC during the upgrade - for example, new staff members' information will not be available as profile pages until IDAC is available again. But working in the other systems in the meantime is perfectly possible.
Why are we upgrading IDAC?
IDAC consists of several technical parts that need to be updated.
Changes for you as a user
- A new, more modern user interface.
- It provides a better view for sorting alphabetically and/or filtering identities.
- No major changes in functionality.
- New instructions and explainer videos will be published at launch.
Important before upgrading
- The connection to the source systems connected to IDAC will be closed, no new accounts can be created during the upgrade. This will be possible again when IDAC reopens on 24 March at 08:00.
- In order for information to be received by IDAC before the closure, the following must be handled no later than Friday 14 March:
- Affiliations must be approved and certified in the Affiliation System.
- Other placements and employments must be registered in Primula.
Important during upgrade
- Active accounts will not be affected.
- The following will not be possible in IDAC during the upgrade:
- No access to IDAC or the ID portal.
- Update IDAC information on KI RIMS, profile pages and organisation pages on KI.se.
- Creating new accounts.
- Create new or update existing project folders.
- Upgrade of accounts (KI-ID or student KI-ID) to the higher authorisation level AL2.
If you need assistance
During the time that IDAC with the ID portal is shut down, create a case at Self Service to handle the following:
- If identity access is to be stopped.
- Reset MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication).
- Reset password.
- If there is a need to access Ladok during the current period and the account lack the higher authorisation level AL2.
- Accounts with start date (status Future Active) during this current period may be opened up temporarily, but these accounts will have limited functionality.

Open workshops on the new IDAC will be held daily between 24 and 28 March (week 13), with the opportunity to ask questions.
