NVS researcher Daniel Ferreira represented KI at the GYSS 2017

Daniel Ferreira, postdoc at the Division of Clinical Geriatrics, is one of tree KI representatives at this year´s Global Young Scientist Summit (GYSS) in Singapore, this after being selected through a though nomination process.

“I am glad and honored to be selected for the summit, it has been a great experience and I have learned allot about science from high impact researchers and Nobel Prize winners, and I also had the opportunity to meet allot of interesting young researchers, which could lead to new friendships and maybe collaborations in the future ”, says Daniel Ferreira.

In total, 250 young PhD students and postdocs under the age of 35 participated in the summit, together with 20 distinguished speakers. Among others, the speakers were Nobel Prize winners within the fields of Chemistry, Physics and Physiology or Medicine.
