New international master's programme within the framework of Stockholm trio
KI is expanding the international programme offering with a new international master's programme in biostatistics and data science. The programme is given in collaboration between Karolinska Institutet, KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Stockholm University.
The Master's Programme in Biostatistics and Data Science (120 credits) will be offered starting in the autumn semester 2024 and is given in collaboration with KTH Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and Stockholm University (SU).
The programme aims to train specialists in analyzing and evaluating data as scientific evidence in medicine and life sciences. Students will be trained in the design and execution of experiments and studies in the life sciences, in statistical modelling and methods of statistical inference as well as data-driven methods of inference derived from machine learning and artificial intelligence.
The programme is two years long and is given in English. The future students will take courses and experience campus life at the three universities. Read more about the programme at the global programme's page.
