New deputy director of doctoral education
"I applied for this assignment because of my great interest and commitment to doctoral education and research at large," says Ulrica Nilsson, professor of nursing and newly appointed deputy director of doctoral education at NVS.
She sees the quality aspect as her most important task in the mission, to work on ensuring the quality of doctoral education. Ulrica has a solid experience of this before. She has been responsible for postgraduate studies in Medical Science, specialisation in Health and Caring Sciences at Örebro University. She has also been Vice Dean at the Faculty of Medicine at Örebro University, with responsibility for the quality of doctoral education. In addition, she is appointed by UKÄ as a reviewer of applications (n = 2) to establish postgraduate education at the university.
"Doctoral education at NVS is of great importance both for the future competence of researchers and for research as a whole," says Ulrica.
Ulrica succeeds Erika Jonsson Laukka, who in her new role as deputy head of division at ARC, wanted to leave the assignment as deputy director of doctoral education.
