Neda Agahi appointed as an associate professor (docent) within public health science
At the end of April, Neda Agahi, researcher at the Aging Research Center, was appointed as an associate professor of public health science at the KI Department of Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society.
“I was happy when I got the news! The appointment is an important milestone in one’s research career and it feels good to have reached it”, says Neda Agahi.
She studies aging from a life course perspective, focusing on lifestyle and socioeconomic factors. Her ongoing research mainly concerns alcohol consumption in the older population and how drinking habits are affected by the transition to retirement.
