Margaret Sällberg Chen receives 1.5 Million SEK grant from the Swedish Cancer Society

Margaret Sällberg Chen has been awarded a grant of 1.5 Million SEK from the Swedish Cancer Society.

The grant of 1.5 Million SEK in total will support over a 3 year period for the research project entitled “Using RNA to Prevent Cancer”. The project focuses on RNA molecules as therapeutics and as biomarkers to accelerate cancer prevention. To achieve this her research group will use new synthetic RNA technologies and molecular techniques to study samples from patients at high risk for cancer.
