Worried that your students are not interacting with the content? Feel like you are lecturing to a wall? Use Mentimeter at regular intervals in your lecture to increase engagement and motivation.
With Mentimeter you have access to a variety of different interactive question types, such as word clouds, multiple-choice, ranking questions or live polls question types, as well as open response options. Encourage friendly rivalry with competitive quizzes.
- Share the anonymous results with participants while giving yourself the opportunity to gauge the participants’ engagement with the session as well as obtaining feedback.
- Participants don’t have to download any special software; they just go to menti.com and join the presentation.
- You can also use Mentimeter in an asynchronous setting. Get participants to post opinions or ask questions before your lecture by sending out a link in advance. Use the results during the lecture or embedded into a Canvas page for further learning activities.
