KI rejects anti-Semitic mailing

There are emails and faxes in circulation containing anti-Semitic statements. Some of the emails unfortunately are sent from an address that is similar to that of the president of Karolinska Institutet (KI). These repeated messages have been reported to the Swedish police and the matter is being investigated as a crime under legislation against hate-speech.

The messages falsely state that the sender is "honorary professor" at KI. There is no such position or title at KI, and the person has no employment at, or present affiliation to KI. The management of KI strongly rejects the content that is being spread.
