KI high up on world university rankings for different subjects

Karolinska Institutet is well-placed on the international “QS world university rankings by subject”. The results are based on reputation surveys and citation data, and are a breakdown of the more general rankings published last autumn, which placed KI 8th in Life Sciences & Medicine field.

KI has results in 15 defined subject fields and has been listed in six different disciplines. Examples of KI’s rankings are Medicine: 9th in the world; Pharmacy & Pharmacology: 6th; and Dentistry (new for 2015): 1st. For this subject, however, comparisons are difficult to make, partly due to the lack of results from previous years.
