Joint master´s programme by KI and Stockholm University

Karolinska Institutet and Stockholm University are launching a new master´s programme in Health Informatics. The previous master's programme was given in collaboration between the two universities, but the collaboration has now been formalised, meaning that students will recieve a double degree from these two world-renowned universities.

The programme, which starts in autumn 2012, is aimed at students with an undergraduate degree in health care, technology or computer and systems sciences. Students are given more opportunities to profile their education through elective courses from both universities.

Alumni from the programme can expect career opportunities in sectors spanning from health care and welfare organisations, corporations within the information technology field, or pursue further education and research.
