”Of course, I want society to benefit from my research, but...”

What are your buts?
Share your experience by participating in a follow-up study to the KI Impact Survey. In 2022, KI staff were invited to participate in the KI Impact Survey aiming to gauge how staff at KI perceive the ability and potential to utilize the efforts of their work to create societal impact. The survey results showed that a majority of staff at KI are currently achieving impact through their work but want to do more. Respondents to the survey also expressed that time constraints in their work role were limiting them in creating impact. We now want to follow up with a qualitative approach where the aim of the study is to learn more about researchers’ preconditions to create impact, looking at motivation, expectations, and ability - in turn identifying empowering and limiting factors for impact creation.

The interview is estimated to take one hour. You will be compensated by receiving a cinema ticket.
