Nominate teachers for scholarships within STINT "Teaching Sabbatical"

Karolinska Institutet has been invited by STINT (The Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education) to nominate two candidates and a backup candidate to participate in the exchange programme for teaching staff called Teaching Sabbatical.

Karolinska Institutet has been invited by STINT (The Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education) to nominate two candidates and a backup candidate to participate in the exchange programme for teaching staff called Teaching Sabbatical.

Please see the document below for information in English. Heads of Department (prefekt) or Programme Directors may suggest candidates for the internal nomination process at KI. The nominations should be emailed to Kristina.Jesinkey@ki.sePlease note that the internal KI deadline is 5 September 2023.

Several KI teachers have been awarded at teaching sabbatical. Anna Miley Åkerstedt will go to Williams College during autumn 2023. Lars Henningsohn spent autumn semester 2019 at UCLA and Sofia Vikström spent spring semester 2022 at  Arizona State University.  In 2014, Åsa Eriksson from the psychology programme and Gunnar Nilsson from the medicine programme, were awarded this scholarship in and spent the autumn semester at UCLA and NTU respectively. Gerald McInerny spent a semester at NTU in 2017. Feel free to contact them should you have any questions regarding their sabbatical.
