Interaction in health care between technology and people subject of international conference at NVS

Professor Ann Langius-Eklöf, head of the Division of Nursing.

The use of technology is getting more and more common in health care, and the relationship between man and technology is growing stronger. What does this mean for human health and the affected health care and nursing? That is the theme for the annual International Conference of Nursing, which this year is organized by the NVS's Division of Nursing in cooperation with the International Philosophy of Nursing Society (IPONS).

The conference runs from 24-26 August and is held on campus Huddinge, Karolinska Institutet. During the conference, a balanced philosophical and interdisciplinary discussion is held on how we can relate to technology, health care and relation to humans. This without technology portrayed either as a threat or as solutions to problems.
