iLab open for booking of core-facility services

It is now possible to start using iLab to book services from some of Karolinska Institutet's core facilities. Nine of the planned 45 core facilities have been implemented in the new administrative system, that is being introduced at the request of the Infrastructure Committee. Further core facilities are scheduled to be implemented during the autumn of 2020.

Links to KI’s own profile in iLab can be found on central webpages about core facilities at and in the "Digital tools" menu on the Staff portal front page. The core facilities that use iLab also have their own direct links.

During the autumn of 2020, a further 12 core facilities are scheduled to be implemented in iLab. The implementation of the system is expected to be completed in December 2021.

The aim of the iLab project is to make it easier to find information about what KI's core facilities can offer in the form of services and products and to facilitate and streamline its management. Some information about each core facility will, however, be retained on for marketing purposes and to enable searchability.
