Greetings from the NEO retreat
At the beginning of next year, a number of KI’s departments will be moving into the new NEO research facility on the Flemingsberg campus. Among those moving will be many staff members in the Department of Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society (NVS).
On 11 and 12 October, a joint retreat was held at Djurönäset for all staff members moving to NEO. The programme included scientific sessions, a session on the organisation of the NEO building and interdepartmental social activities.
Below is a short greeting from the retreat, in which KI vice-chancellor Ole Petter Ottersen inspects a poster about research on spinal cord injuries that are being conducted at the NVS. Also in the picture is Elisabeth Åkesson, adjunct senior lecturer in the Division of Neurodegeneration.
