Göran K Hansson elected Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nobel Foundation

Göran K Hansson, Professor in the Department of Medicine at Karolinska Institutet, has been elected Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nobel Foundation. Dr Hansson is the Secretary of the Nobel Assembly and the Nobel Committee for Physiology or Medicine.

Göran K Hansson is also a scientist and project leader at the Center for Molecular Medicine at Karolinska University Hospital Solna and a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. The Nobel Foundation manages the assets made available for awarding the Nobel Prizes.
