First core facilities go-live in iLab in June
The implementation of Karolinska Institutet's new administrative system for core facilities, called iLab, has now begun. During the first week in June, the first six core facilities will receive access to the system and three more facilities will follow the last week of June. In all, the project delivery concerns 45 core facilities at KI.
The project delivery also includes the integration for logging in to SWAMID and the integration between iLab and UBW / Agresso to enable an automated invoice process. The aim of the iLab project is to make it easier to find information about what KI's core facilities can offer in the form of services and products and to facilitate and streamline its management.
Some information about each core facility will, however, be retained on KI's own website for marketing purposes and to enable searchability. The next round of core implementation introduced to iLab will take place in mid-September. The implementation of the system is expected to be completed in December 2021.
