Doctoral thesis awarded the Glushko Dissertation Prize

Dominika Radziun, a former PhD student at Karolinska Institutet, and currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Donders Institute, The Netherlands, has recently been awarded one of the five Glushko Dissertation Prizes for her doctoral thesis entitled "Body perception and brain plasticity in blind and sighted individuals".

Dominika defended her thesis at Karolinska Institutet on 26 May 2023. Her principal supervisor was Henrik Ehrsson, Professor at the Department of Neuroscience at Karolinska Institutet. Her external examiner was Dr. Brigitte Röder, Professor at the University of Hamburg, Department of Biological Psychology and Neuropsychology, Germany.

The Glushko Dissertation Prize is awarded annually and is recognized as one of the most prestigious awards for graduate contribution in cognitive science. The prizes are funded by the Robert J. Glushko and Pamela Samuelson Fund, based in San Francisco.
