Division of Physiotherapy awarded best poster at NKG2024

Linda Sandberg and Kristina Dalin Eriksson were awarded best posters at the 27th Nordic Gerontology Congress, June 12 - 14.

Both Linda Sandberg and Kristina Dalin Eriksson, from the Division of Physiotherapy, were recognized for their respective posters presented at the congress. Out of over 400 submitted abstracts, eight winners were selected: four in the Social Science category and four in the Medical Science category. Linda and Kristina were among the recipients in the Medical Science category. They are both part of Anna-Karin Welmers’ research group.

Karolinska Institutet hosted the event, the theme was “Aging in a Transforming World.” Over 700 participants were registered, and the congress was inaugurated by H.M. Queen Silvia, along with KI president Annika Östman Wernerson.
