Dissertation 20 June, 2016: Tracy Peters

On June 20, Tracy Peters will defend her thesis "Risk factors and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis : an epidemiologic approach". The opponent is Professor Giancarlo Logroscino from the Department of Clinical Research in Neurologym University of Bari "Aldo Moro". Her supervisors are Weimin Ye, Fang Fang, Dale P. Sandler and Freya Kamel.

Tracy's thesis covers risk factors related to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), which is a debilitating and rare disorder; progressively the patient’s muscles go into paralyses limiting their ability to walk, do day-to-day tasks, and eat.
