Dissertation 18 May 2018: Gustaf Rejnö

On Friday May 18, Gustaf Rejnö will defend his thesis "Asthma, anxiety and depression in pregnancy: the impact on pregnancy, delivery and perinatal outcomes". His opponent is Professor Deborah Jarvis from Department of Respiratory Epidemiology and Public Health at the Imperial College London. Gustaf's supervisors are Catarina Almqvist Malmros, Paul Lichtenstein, Kjell Larsson and Sissel Saltvedt.

Gustaf's thesis focuses on how asthma and anxiety or depression complicates pregnancy and delivery outcomes in a combination of large population-based registers and smaller clinical cohorts, using family design methods to adjust for possible shared genetic and environmental factors.
