Mag-tarmfondens stipendier - Svensk Gastroenterologisk Förening

Anslagen riktar sig till forskare med aktuella projekt inom klinisk gastroenterologi eller hepatologi. Individer i slutfas av avhandlingsarbete eller i postdoktoral fas upp till 10 år efter disputation (avräknat tid för föräldraledighet) kan söka anslag.

Stipendier - American Dental Society of Sweden (ADSS)

  • ADSS forskningsstipendium: kan sökas av personer som forskar eller undervisar inom odontologi i Sverige för deltagande i vetenskapliga kongresser under det kalenderår som ansökan avser.

  • Sandbloms stipendium: kan sökas av tandläkare med svensk legitimation som bör vara medlem av Svenska Tandläkare-Sällskapet. Stipendiet kan användas som bidrag för forskare verksamma vid odontologisk institution i Sverige eller för att finansiera studieresa till officiellt erkänt universitet i USA. Forskningsrelaterade kostnader för samarbetsprojekt med forskare i USA premieras.

Research scholarships and project grants – Ögonfonden

Support scientific eye and vision research in order to prevent and treat eye diseases and to effectively utilise residual vision. Research scholarships worth SEK 20,000 each are available, as well as project grants worth between SEK 40,000 and SEK 250,000 each.

Forskningsanslag - Hjärnfonden

Stöder klinisk och grundvetenskaplig forskning om hjärnan och övriga nervsystemet och sjukdomar, skador och funktionsnedsättningar i hela nervsystemet. Forskningen ska vara inriktad mot psykisk ohälsa hos barn och unga. Behöriga att söka är disputerade forskare med anställning vid svenskt lärosäte. Minst hälften av arbetstiden under anslagstiden måste vara förlagd till Sverige. Anslag uppgår till SEK 600,000 under ett , två, eller tre år.

SSF: EU Horizon Europe application support 2022 - The Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research

The call aims to promote internationalization of Swedish research by stimulating increased Swedish participation in HEU Pillar 2 Global Challenges & European Industrial Competitiveness. The HEU-projects must be of strategic relevance for Sweden, i.e., benefit the future competitiveness of Sweden. It is directed exclusively towards researchers in natural science, technology or medicine at Swedish universities or research institutes that apply for a HEU Pillar 2 Project Coordinator role. Grants are worth up to SEK 500,000.

Forskningsanslag - Stiftelsen Läkare Mot AIDS Forskningsfond

Stiftelsen utlyser forskningsanslag för studier som syftar till behandling av HIV-infektion eller dess följdtillstånd och till förebyggande åtgärder. Projekt som har klinisk relevans prioriteras högt. Upp till 200 000 kr kan anslås till varje beviljat projekt.

Stiftelsen Serafimerlasarettet utlyser medel

Stiftelsen Serafimerlasarettet, grundad genom enskild offervillighet och i verksamhet sedan 1752, har till uppgift att främja medicinsk forskning och utbildning av läkare samt ändamål, som har samband med Serafimerlasarettets historia.

Stiftelsen utdelar medel för medicinsk forskning med tydlig klinisk inriktning och som bedrivs av yngre forskare (högst 45 års ålder eller högst 10 år efter disputation) vid Karolinska Institutet. Totalt utdelas ca 50-100 tkr till 3-4 forskare.

Stipendier och anslag delas årligen ut för att främja forskning, undervisning och utbildning inom områdena miljövård, energi, samhällsbyggnad och transportteknik, bland annat med avseende på teknisk-ekonomisk analys inom nämnda områden. 
J. Gustaf Richert grundade 1897 Vattenbyggnadsbyrån som idag är en del av Sweco-koncernen.

Utlysning av medel för spelforskning

Svenska Spels forskningsråd delar årligen ut anslag till olika forskningsprojekt. Svenska Spels forskningsråd lämnar stöd till forskning om spelberoende och förebyggande åtgärder mot spelproblem. Rådet strävar efter att stimulera uppbyggandet av goda forskningsmiljöer.

Medlen avser stöd såväl till doktorander, forskare de närmsta fem åren efter disputation (post doktoral period) samt graduerade forskare vid universitet och högskolor som söker projektbidrag. Medel medges för projekt som sträcker sig från ett till fem år.

Rådet administreras av Centralförbundet för alkohol- och narkotikaupplysning (CAN).

Sista ansökningsdag är 30 april 2022.

Lisa och Johan Grönbergs Stiftelse

Lisa och Johan Grönbergs Stiftelse avser att dela ut ett antal anslag om max 100 000 kronor per anslag till  disputerade forskare.
Årets ämne är ”Metabolism vid  stress – kliniska studier”. Humanstudier skall ingå i ansökan.

Ansökningstiden är öppen från den 1 mars  klockan 00.01  t o m 31 mars klockan 23.59.

ERC-2022-AdG Advanced Grants — European Research Council, EU

European Research Council (ERC) Advanced Grants support established, leading principal investigators who want long-term funding to pursue a ground-breaking, high-risk project. Applicants should be exceptional leaders in terms of originality and significance of their research contributions, with a track record of significant research achievements in the last ten years.  Applications may be made in any field of research, with an emphasis on the frontiers of science, scholarship, and engineering.

ERC Advanced Grants may be awarded up to €2.5 million for a period of 5 years, though an additional €1 million can be made available under certain circumstances.

 This supports translational research projects that advance science and medical research in the field of multiple sclerosis. Research projects should fall into one of the following categories:

•clinical – investigation of neurodegeneration, neuroplasticity and remyelination;

•scientific – neuroplasticity and myelin repair in relation to restoring central nervous system function.

Academic researchers from around the world may apply.

Public engagement grants--Society for Endocrinology, GB

These support the organisation and delivery of outreach activities, aimed at school children or the general public, that engage audiences with hormones and the impact of endocrinology. Activities may include the following:

•hands-on activities that can be used in classrooms;

•endocrine-themed science practicals;

•short, online videos or podcasts;

•online website material to reinforce concepts learnt in school.

Full and early-career members may apply. Grants are worth up to £1,000.

NEXT start-up grant -- European Society of Intensive Care Medicine, EUR

This enables the professional development of newly board-certified intensive care physicians to develop their independent research programmes in the field of intensive care and emergency medicine. Research programme proposals may rely on approaches ranging from basic cellular responses to outcome research and may include clinical applications as well as translational science.

Board-certified intensive care physicians within five years from consultancy who can demonstrate a solid background in research may apply. The proposal has to include at least three different countries contributing to the design or conduct of the project.

Funding is worth €25,000 per year for up to two years.

These support innovative original research projects in the fields of microbiota, allergies, childhood brain development, nutrition and child obesity, and maternal health.

Academic, university or hospital-based projects are eligible.

Grants are worth up to €50,000 for preclinical studies and up to €100,000 for clinical studies. A bonus of €5,000 will be granted for any publication in scientific journals with an impact factor greater than 2.5.

Discovery of in vivo Chemical Probes for the Nervous System (R01, R21 Clinical Trial Not Allowed), NIH

The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to support investigators who have interest and capability to join efforts for the discovery of in vivo chemical probes for novel brain targets. It is expected that applicants will have, in hand, the starting compounds (“validated hits”) for chemical optimization and bioassays for testing new analog compounds.

Through this FOA, NIH wishes to stimulate research in 1) discovery and development of novel, small molecules for their potential use in understanding biological processes relevant to the missions of NIMH, NIDA, NEI, and/or NIA and 2) discovery and/or validation of novel, biological targets that will inform studies of brain disease mechanisms. The Human Frontier Science Programme invites applications for its early-career grants. These support teams of early-career researchers working on innovative approaches to understanding complex mechanisms of living organisms.

Teams comprising scientists who are all within five years of obtaining an independent position and who have received their PhD or equivalent qualification within the 10 years prior to the application deadline, may apply. Only one application per institution may be submitted.

Grant size depends on the size of the team and grants are worth up to USD 500,000 per year over three years.

Programme grants - Human Frontier Science Program

The Human Frontier Science Programme invites applications for its programme grants. These support teams of researchers at any career stage working on innovative approaches to understand complex mechanisms of living organisms. The aim is to allow teams of independent researchers to develop new lines of research through collaboration and to answer questions that could not be answered in individual laboratories.

Teams of independent researchers at any career stage may apply. Teams must comprise between two and four members. The principal applicant must be located in one of the HFSP member countries but co-investigators may be located in any country. Only one application per institution may be submitted.

Grants are worth up to USD 500,000 per year each over three years, dependent upon team size.
