CTMR collaboration with EURAC on studies of the Ötzi gut microbiome
Dr Frank Maixner, EURAC institute for studies of mummies and the iceman, Bolzano, Italy, visited The Centre for Translational Microbiome Research (CTMR) and gave a lecture on "The 5300-year-old Helicobacter pylori genome of the Iceman - the story and the research" this December.
Collaboration with EURAC on studies of the Ötzi gut microbiome is ongoing and will expand during Dr Maixner´s stay at CTMR as visiting scientist between June and September 2017.
