Cleaning in the ANA Futura freezer facility
The organization in the ANA Futura freezer facility needs improvement.
The freezer facility must be better organized, especially with regards to removing waste and steel racks from the floor. This is important not only from a fire evacuation perspective but also for the overall well-being within the facility. Your help is essential for organizing the freezer facility to make it nice and tidy.
The deadline for cleaning up is 24 May, 2024.
Room for Electric Freezers (-80°C)
The following actions need to be taken:
Sample Boxes
Sample boxes you want to keep should be placed on the designated shelf in the room and must be clearly labelled.
Steel Racks
- Steel racks should be placed on top of freezers.
- If there are steel racks that should be discarded, place them on the marked pallet.
Waste Recycling
No waste should be left in the freezer facility. Everyone is responsible for handling/recycling waste on floor 4, including cardboard and plastic.
Old Laboratory Equipment
There is also old lab equipment stored in the freezer facility with unknown owners that needs to be removed. Equipment that you want to keep must be moved out of the freezer facility by May 24 at the latest (the research group is responsible for this).
Any remaining equipment after this date will be discarded. If you have any questions, please contact the service team.
Room for Cryofreezers (-196°C)
The following actions need to be taken:
Waste recycling
No waste should be left in the freezer facility. Everyone is responsible for handling/recycling waste on floor 4, including cardboard and plastic.
Old Cryogenic vessels
There are older cryogenic vessels in the freezer facility that are not in use. These must be moved by May 24 at the latest (the research group is responsible for this).
IMPORTANT: Any vessels left in the room after this date will be discarded.
