Cancer foundation awards KI staff

Following the decision at the Research Board meeting March 8, 2016, two additional posts were awarded by Cancerfonden to the Department of Oncology-Pathology: Mercedes Herrera, postdoctor, and Johan Hartman, junior clinical investigator.

This year's notice by Cancerfonden can be summarized as a show of strength by Karolinska Institutet, which was granted three of the eleven awards. Also Martin Eklund, at the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics, was given the junior investigator award.
