Canadian Foreign Minister visited KI

In connection with his visit to Sweden the Canadian Foreign Minister met the Vice-Chancellor and other academic representatives at KI.

KI researchers are collaborating with a large number of universities and hospitals in Canada, where the University of Toronto is the University that KI has the most co-publications with.

In 2012 the University of Toronto and KI received a donation of Mats Sundin for the establishment of "Mats Sundin Fellowship in Human Development and Regenerative Medicine" which aims to give young researchers the opportunity to do a postdoc at the University of Toronto / KI. In 2012 the first recipients were namned, one from KI and one from the University of Toronto.
