On 10 December, Canada’s Minister of Science, Dr. Kirsty Duncan, visited Karolinska Institutet. After a lab visit at the Department of Neuroscience, headed by Dr. Ola Hermanson, Academic Coordinator KI to Canada, Dr. Kirsty Duncan got a general introduction to Karolinska Institutet and the ongoing Collaborations with Canadian Partners.
Vice-Chancellor Anders Hamsten, together with Professor Maria Masucci, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for International Affairs and Professor Hans-Gustaf Ljunggren, Dean of Research, welcomed Minister Duncan to Aula Medica for further discussions.
Mr. Mats Sundin, the former NHL Hockey pro and co-founder of the Mats Sundin Fellowship in Developmental Health between KI and University of Toronto, also attended the meeting.
