Satellite Events (for example workshops, seminars, guest lectures, visits, industry collaboration etc.) can be organised by individual researchers or jointly in collaboration with nearby universities or organisations linked to research, education or innovation. These events can include students, researchers, industry, NGOs, university management or any relevant groups.

For satellite events that are organized at KI funding will be provided by KI for fika and/or a light lunch depending on when the satellite event takes place during the day. The practical arrangements around the satellite events will be handled at department level.

Track 2: Host a workshop during the SASUF Sustainability Forum

Date: 15-17 May 2024

This is for the researchers that already have an existing contact in the other country, since one of the requirements is to have at least one Swedish and one South African co-organiser to host a workshop. Requirement for the main responsible organisers is to have a PhD.

The Sustainability Forum will be organised around parallel workshops, seminars, and sessions. It is the participants themselves are the main contributors to the Forum by applying to host a workshop.
