Call for participation in the research and innovation week within South Africa Sweden University Forum in March 2023

Karolinska Institutet invites eligible researchers and doctoral students to apply for participation in the SASUF Research and Innovation week that takes place in South Africa, March 27-31, 2023.
One of the collaborative activities with SASUF is the yearly The research and Innovation Week. These weeks consist of a variety of events, where satellite events will take place during the first part of the week, and will round off with a joint Sustainability Forum. The research and innovation week in 2023 takes place in South Africa.
Participate and contribute
To participate in the Research and Innovation Week you are required to contribute to the programme. Examples include organizing a seminar or workshop with partners in South Africa or bringing a poster to the poster exhibition.
Deadline
Deadline to send your contribution to SASUF is on January 8th, 2023. Follow the links below for more information about the different ways to participate and application forms. You can either apply to one single track, or combine Track 1 with either Track 2 or Track 3. Track 2 and Track 3 cannot be combined with each other.

Travel grants
A selected number of participants from KI will be offered a travel grant from KI of 25 000 SEK for participation in the research and innovation week.
SASUF 2030 is a transformative project uniting 40 universities from across Sweden and South Africa. Bringing together leading researchers, teachers, students, university leaders and other stakeholders, the project will develop joint solutions to the challenges posed by the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Agenda 2030.
