Call for Eurolife Summer Schools 2019

Master and doctoral students as well as junior researchers at KI, preferably with a background in neuroscience or immunology, microbiology and metabolism, are welcome to apply for grants to attend the Eurolife Summer Schools 2019 organized by the Trinity College Dublin (16-25 June) and the Leiden University Medical Center (8-12 July).

Eurolife will fund a total of 18 grants towards two Summer Schools in 2019, of which at least 2 grants are allocated to participants from KI.

Application

For more information on the required application documents please see respective Eurolife Summer School website. Complete the application form and together with the annexed documents (CV, reference letter if required and motivation letter) and submit your application in a ZIP file to the Eurolife General Coordinator . The title of the ZIP file should include the name of the Eurolife Summer School in the subject of your email.

All applications from KI will be assessed by a group of representatives from the Committee for Higher Education and the Committee for Doctoral Training, based on the application documents above. Successful applicants will be notified by the Eurolife General Coordinator.

For the Eurolife Summer School Leiden the grants cover both registration and accommodation, however in case of the Eurolife Summer School Dublin the grants will only fund the registration. Nominated Eurolife students will still be expected to organize and fund their travels and for Dublin also the accommodation. Eurolife is a network of nine prestigious European universities, including KI, which aims to facilitate collaborative research, the exchange of researchers and research students and the creation of new research opportunities. The network offers different educational activities for doctoral students as well as senior researchers.
