Biography
Jörsäter made his thesis on galaxies in 1984 at the Stockholm University. He has worked as an observational astronomer in the optical, radio and space fields. He has been employed by the European Space Agency as a specialist on the Hubble Space Telescope imaging instruments.  He has also been working with IT.

Co-author of the book  “Vad är liv? I cellen, i människan, i kosmos”. Jörsäter has a vivid interest in the boundary between cosmology and the origin of life. Returning lecturer in the What is life series.
