"Public honesty about laboratory animals"

Abstract

Animal research saves lives. Period. It saves human lives. It saves animal lives. It has done so in at least the past two centuries. It will continue to do so for some time to come. Just as important, animal research expands our knowledge of our world and theirs, regardless of any immediate or intended applications to human or animal health and welfare. Do such absolute statements always hold true? Does animal research constantly deliver the goods without fail?

In this webinar, these and other questions will be addressed and discussed.

Speaker

Dr. Steven M. Niemi, Department of Biomedical Sciences, Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, Grafton, MA, U.S.
