Lectures and seminars Webinar: Career choices for researchers within and beyond academia (EURAXESS Sweden)
EURAXESS Sweden invites you to a webinar on researchers’ career paths and opportunities. We would particularly like to give PhD students and junior researchers an opportunity to get an overview of their options outside academia as well as concrete tips on how to plan their future career.
Target group: Researchers in Sweden, in particular PhD students and junior researchers
Language: The webinar will be in English.
Brief description of the webinar: This 75-minute webinar will encourage you to consider the range and types of career choices open to researchers. This will include opportunities within academia, and how to identify opportunities in other industries. You will explore your own career drivers, and briefly look at how your research-developed skills and attributes can be transferred to those other career options. By the end of the session, you will have a clearer understanding on the career options available to post-doctoral researchers, and some tools to assist you in considering your own next steps.
