The Tissue and Motion research network is organizing a yearly conference for young researchers at KI working in the fields of stem cells, regenerative medicine, and motion.

Welcome to the Tissue and Motion conference 2024, April 16-17th!
The Tissue and Motion research network invites early-career KI researchers to a 1.5-day event to discuss and present clinical and pre-clinical research within fields such as tissue healing and regeneration in nerves, heart, bones etc, gene-, cell-, and EV therapies, as well as the important role of physiotherapy. With two distinguished keynote speakers confirmed, junior researchers will have the exciting opportunity to present their data as oral or poster presentations, mingle and network, and establish new collaborations through the seminar.
Given the great success of the 2022 conference, the organising committee is proud to present this year’s schedule which further includes representation from industry partners, KI innovations, and a workshop to highlight the ‘motion’ in this event.
We believe this conference will offer an outstanding opportunity for interactions among different research groups, which will be of particular interest to young researchers at the early stages of their careers.
Transport and return
Bus departs from Solna or Flemingsberg campus on Tuesday, April 16th, at 7:30am. The bus will stop at the official KI pendelbus stops in the regarding campuses (Hälsovägen in Flemingsberg /Nobels väg 5 in Solna).
Please check the signs with “KI BUS TO DJURÖNÄSET” (Tissue and Motion Conference 2024). The bus ride takes approximately one hour. We return to the KI campuses from Djurönäset on Wednesday, April 17th at 13:30 departure.
Registration
Registration including accommodation is free of charge! Register by filling out the online form. Registration is open until March 4th 2024.
Abstract submission
We invite all interested researchers to submit their abstracts. Oral and poster presentations are an essential part of this conference. To participate, PhD students must submit an abstract. For later researchers, submission is highly encouraged to secure attendance.
Abstract submission deadline is March 4th. Please see more detailed information about abstract submission in the registration form. You will be notified if we have chosen your abstract for an oral or poster presentation.

There will be awards for best oral and poster presentation!
