Social activity The MEB book club is back
This fall we will read the book: Tapestries of life (in Swedish: ”På Naturens axlar”) and we will begin with a zoom MEB seminar with the author on Monday October 18 at 12 am.
Zoom: https://ki-se.zoom.us/j/66487657977
There is no need to register for the zoom seminar.
This zoom seminar will then be followed by one (1) regular book meeting (where we discuss the book, it is not that long, about 200-250 pages in Swedish so one date is probably sufficient). We hope as many as possible will want to join us also for the book discussion and we will post the date later.

Description: Professor Anne Sverdrup-Thygeson explains how closely we are all connected with the natural world, highlighting our indelible link with nature's finely knit system and our everyday lives. In the heart of natural world is a life-support system like no other, a collective term that describes all the goods and services we receive - food, fresh water, medicine, pollination, pollution control, carbon sequestration, erosion prevention, recreation, spiritual health and so much more.
The book club will be introduced by the author(!), who is a professor in biology in Oslo. Se has also been the so called summer host (P1 sommar) in Sweden 2019. Here is a short interview with her on the tv show Skavlan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_VDMj1tMaM
