Conferences and symposiums Symposium: "Protein Misfolding in Human Proteinopathies”
All researchers interested in the fields of protein misfolding and neurodegeneration are invited to the symposium “Protein Misfolding in Human Proteinopathies”, organised by the CIMED network “Protein Assembly and Biological Drugs” at Karolinska Institutet Campus South, the “Stockholm Proteostasis network” and the Uppsala-Stockholm-Linköping “Amyloid” network.
The symposium will be the start of a common seminar series of the three involved networks to tighten their links in the future. The aim is to foster interactions and collaborations of researchers within the field of protein misfolding in the Stockholm-Uppsala region and to promote translation from basic research to the clinic.
The scientific program consists of keynote lectures of external invited speakers and presentations of junior and senior scientists from the three networks. The symposium will be concluded with a panel discussion on the topic of “The future of treatments in human proteinopathies”.
