Abstract: 

The treatment potential of psychedelic compounds has attracted a lot of attention lately – in both the media and in scholarly journals. Why is this? In this talk, the presenter will give a brief overview of why research on psychedelics has not been feasible for a long time, and why researchers now see promise in this area (with caveats). The presenter will show some interesting findings, as well as upcoming research to keep an eye out for.
