Lectures and seminars Stockholm Trio Workshop – R, Bash Shell & Git

This four day online workshop on working with data will cover the fundamentals of:
- Unix Shell – Will provide an introduction in working with the command line (March 8, 09:30–15:00)
- R – R is a programming language that is especially powerful for data exploration, visualization, and statistical analysis. To interact with R, we use RStudio. (March 10 & March 11 09:30–15:00)
- Git – Git is a version control system that lets you track who made changes to what when and has options for easily updating a shared or public version of your code on github.com. (March 18 09:30-15:00)

It is not required to attend all four days. If you are only interested in attending part of the workshop, just let us know when you register.
This is a "Carpentry" workshop. Data Carpentry is an organization that offer workshops on foundational coding and data science skills to researchers worldwide.
No prior experience is required, however, you have to have your own laptop with some software installed. Please visit the course page for details.
Registration is open to any graduate student or researcher affiliated with Karolinska Institutet, KTH Royal Institute of Technology or Stockholm University.
