Welcome to a seminar tracing the evolution of the European Commission's Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, from its inception to its current iteration, Horizon Europe.

Explore the journey of the Framework Programme, now known as Horizon Europe, from its early stages in the 1980’s to its present form. This discussion is particularly relevant as discussions about the forthcoming FP10 are ongoing.

Gain insights from an expert, Dan Andrée from the University Alliance Stockholm Trio in Brussels, with extensive experience in Brussels R&D&I policies. Annika Borgenstam KTH Vice President for Research will inaugurate the seminar.

The event is open to colleagues from the University Alliance Stockholm Trio: KI, Stockholms universitet and KTH, and all those interested in EU research and innovation policies. Following the seminar, you are cordially invited to stay for a mingling session.

Dan Andrée is a senior advisor and represents the University Alliance Stockholm Trio in Brussels. He has worked with and within the European Institutions for the last 25 years He chaired the Council Research Group during the Swedish Presidency 2001 and 2009. He is a member of the think tank, High Level Group on Innovation. Earlier in his career he was a researcher at KTH. He has been director of two governmental agencies and a science counsellor at the Swedish Embassy in London.
