Title

"Long-term in vitro expansion of a human fetal pancreas stem cell that generates all three pancreatic cell lineages"

Speaker

Dr Andersson-Rolf is currently a postdoc in Dr Hans Clevers' lab at the Hubrecht Institute in the Netherlands, where she investigates stem and differentiated cells in human pancreas development and disease, and developed a human fetal pancreatic organoid model that mimics native epithelial organ complexity by including the three main cell lineages.

She earned a Master of Medical Biotechnology degree at the Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, where she established a method for creating an in vitro-generated endogenous organoid reporter line. She then earned a PhD at the WT-MRC Stem Cell Institute, Cambridge University, UK, where she developed advanced genetic tools for interrogating gene function.
