Whether animal experiments are ethically defensible and scientifically justified is an ongoing discussion.

A discussion further accentuated by the fact that in September 2021 the EU Parliament voted for a resolution calling on the EU Commission to draw up an action plan for the active phasing out of animal testing in science, regulatory testing and education.

Karolinska Institutet's Ethics Council invites you to a seminar to discuss animal testing.

The main target group for the seminar is students and staff at KI and any interested public.

The seminar is held in English and will be streamed and made available afterwards. The seminar is subsequently subtitled in both Swedish and English.

To participate physically mail registration is manadatory,
