Loss of everyday functional ability is one of the greatest challenges in the care of individuals with psychotic disorders. Professor Philip D Harvey, world leading expert in cognition and functional ability in psychosis, is coming to Stockholm to give a seminar on this important topic. The title of the seminar is: ”Self Knowledge in Schizophrenia: A Fundamental Barrier to Adequate Everyday Functioning?”.

Additional information about Professor Harvey: Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Miller School of Medicine, University of Miami. He has developed the cognitive test battery Brief Assessment of Cognition in Schizophrenia (BACS) and his research has focused on cognition and everyday functioning. Professor Harvey has also done research on different treatments meant to improve cognitive ability and functioning.
