In this Nature Editorial Talk, Dr Christine-Maria Horejs, Associate Editor of Nature Research, will talk about the dos and don’ts for scientific writing, the editorial process at Nature, peer-reviewing and cover letters, and give you a more general idea of how things work at the Nature publishing group.
Speaker: Dr Christine-Maria Horejs, Associate Editor of Nature Reviews Materials, Nature Research.
Christine received her MSc and PhD in nanobiotechnology from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, Austria, studying protein conformations and self-assembly using biophysical and theoretical approaches. She then joined the lab of Molly Stevens at Imperial College London, UK, investigating the extracellular matrix and cell–material interactions. In 2015, she moved to the Karolinska Institute, Sweden, conducting in vivo studies of anti-fibrotic biomaterials. In September 2017, she joined the Nature Reviews Materials team as an Associate Editor.
