Conferences and symposiums Rethinking Creativity in Education - The solution for 21 st century challenges?

There are human abilities that cannot be replaced by new technology. These include creativity, critical thinking and collaborative skills. Karolinska Institutet together with Berättarministeriet invites you to a conference that focuses on these skills and how our school system can encourage and support students in learning them.

Speakers include among others Swedish Minister for Education Mats Persson, Annika Östman Wernerson, President, Karolinska Institutet, Dilsa Demirbag-Sten, Secretary General and Co-Founder, Berättarministeriet, Ronald A. Beghetto, Pinnacle West Presidential Chair and Professor, Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, Arizona State University, Mara Krechevsky, Senior researcher, Project Zero at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and Andreas Schleicher, Director for the Directorate of Education and Skills, OECD. In addition, illusionist, comedian, singer and writer Carl-Einar Häckner will join us to provide entertainment. Further speakers will be announced.
