Lectures and seminars PUF-V Seminar: Use of patient-reported outcome measures in clinical care
The Doctoral programme in health care science (PUF-V) invites to a public seminar with Dr Kathryn Flynn (BA, MS, PhD) to discuss the use of patient-reported outcome measures in clinical care.
Dr. Kathryn Flynn is Associate Professor of Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the Senior Scientific Director for Patient-Reported Outcomes in the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR). She was trained in sociology (BA, MS) and population health sciences (PhD).
Dr. Flynn’s research focuses on the measure development and analysis of patient- reported outcomes as well as mixed methods approaches to understanding and improving patient-provider communication and patient decision making. She co-led development of the PROMIS Sexual Function and Satisfaction measure, which is now available in Swedish.
