The Centre for Health Crises and Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Health (CESH) would once again like to invite you to a Policy Lab. This time it is held in English! We will discuss Global Health Policy, Politics and Political Economy – What’s the Difference and Does it Matter? Public health expert Mariam Claeson will share her personal reflections.

Reflections by Miriam Claeson

Mariam Claeson is senior advisor at the Department of Global Public Health, Karolinska Institutet, working on the financing and political economy of adolescent mental health. She has been involved in international health matters for more than 30 years, at the WHO, the World Bank and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and is the former Director of the Global Financing Facility for Women, Children and Adolescents. She currently serves on the Lancet Commission on adolescent health and wellbeing. Mariam is Honorary Doctor of Medicine at Karolinska Institutet.
